Once again, greed, egotism, and promotional aspirations collide with considerations of runners’ safety, with near lethal results. Todd Warger and Brian Young give us a behind the scenes look at historical details and footnotes that they weren't able to fit into their documentary film, but that add to the mystique of the mountain adventure race that has nearly been forgotten in the annals of Pacific Northwest history.
