개구리왕자
The Frog-prince
어느 화창한 저녁,
One fine evening
젊은 공주는 보닛과 나막신을 신고
a young princess put on her bonnet and clogs,
숲으로 홀로 산책하기 위해 나섰어요.
and went out to take a walk by herself in a wood;
시원한 샘물에 이르러서는
and when she came to a cool spring of water,
그 한가운데서 솟아오른 곳에서
that rose in the midst of it,
잠시 쉬기 위해 앉았습니다.
she sat herself down to rest a while.
이제 그녀는 손에 황금 공을 들고 있었는데,
Now she had a golden ball in her hand,
그것은 그녀가 가장 좋아하는 놀이였어요.
which was her favourite plaything;
그리고 그녀는 항상 그것을 공중으로 던졌고,
and she was always tossing it up into the air,
그것이 떨어지면 그것을 다시 잡았습니다.
and catching it again as it fell.
