On today's episode Paula shares with us her story about leaving the Jehovah witness cult and what she went through coming out of the cult. She shares her journey, how it affected her and why she left. She feels its so important to get stories like hers out there because she wants people to know that there is support on the other end for people who are looking to leave the cult and to stop people from entering a cult.
About the guest: Paula Julian-Lenton presently holds the title of Mom and " Momma" as her grandchildren call her, a wife to her wonderful husband, and is 57 years young. A self-employed sales agent in Atlantic Canada, born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she was raised in the JW religion. She was able to break free of the cult in her teens, life wasn't easy going through on the other side of a cult and can leave you feeling like an imposter. She is free now, living life without guilt and the fear of Armageddon. How many of us leave but are still caged with fear of the punishment coming for us. How many
of us make choices based on this fear that even out can ultimately harm us, she knew she had and that was many years ago and before social media. Paula's
main objective for doing this podcast is to help others on this same path of freedom. We all have a story and few around us will truly understand, that is
why we are here, and she is here for anyone that wants to talk.
