The Relatively Speaking Podcast woke up early on a Monday morning to swiftly insert entertainment into your cranium via the soft and luscious tones of Jared Mintz and Joseph Nardone.
It has been a really busy week in NBA free agency. Major trades, major signings, and all the rumors to keep a basketball junkie away from the evil that is Major League Baseball.
We kid. We kid. We love slapstick.
After recapping some of the recent action, Jared and Joseph opine for a world where people stop counting J.J. Redick's money. Seriously, guys. It was a one-year deal. The front-end money isn't all that bad when you realize the Sixers have a billion players on rookie contracts -- AND IT IS FOR ONE YEAR!
Paul George to Oklahoma City, Chris Paul to Houston, and a few other notable moves, has there been any shift of power out in the Western Conference?
Did you guys hear about John Calipari to the New York Knicks? Jared did, and he is irrationally angry about the entire ordeal. As for Joseph, he discusses why he enjoys all of this nonsense and can see a day (off in the future) when Cal hits the NBA and does relatively well.
The show closes as every Monday show ends -- with Absurd Questions.
Jared wants to know what sport Joseph would be most afraid to play.
Joseph asks Jared if he'd rather, you know, an alien or a ghost... really classy stuff.
