Ahoy, Motherfuckers!
We were joined by Shanta from the Single Simulcast to discuss Real Genius, which is a sarcastic gem of an '80s flick that is designed to go over all of our heads for the most part. Brandon had never seen it before, and so the allure was lost to him as we discussed the quips, comebacks, and comments made by each of the characters in this weird ecosystem where everyone is brilliant. We also discussed the differences between this movie and other '80s movies such as Revenge of the Nerds and Porkys, which are both extremely problematic and do not stand the test of time at all.
