How different would our lives be if we asked God to set things anew and sincerely mean it? Would our daily routines look the same? Would our attitudes remain as they are? When we ask God to hit our “Reset” button we are giving Him permission to help us live out our lives as new creations in Christ. Life is not about doing it all on our own. God is here to help you be reset to be more like Him!
Today, Pastor Phil Diaz of Greencastle Church Of The Nazarene talks about how a "Re-set" of our pride and selfishness will help us grow in our walk and maturity in the faith. The disciples wanted Jesus to operate within the means of an earthly kingdom with placements for them on his left and right side to rule over the many. Yet, what Jesus points to, is how His kingdom is not of this world and will not operate in the way any earthly kingdom does! It's an upside-down kingdom where humility trumps arrogance and pride.
