At the request of several people, this is the Intro episode to our deep-dive series on the "Infinite Banking Concept" (IBC). We've discussed this on several other episodes (make sure to check those out too!), but wanted to really get into the nitty-gritty of an actual IBC policy illustration and the mechanics of how it works with actual numbers. IBC is a trademarked term and concept originally developed by Nelson Nash, referring to the use of very specially-designed Cash Value Life Insurance policies, which are borrowed against to fund investments, business (or anything else you choose). This Intro episode briefly sets the stage to cover the history, background, and "Why" of IBC. In our next episode, we'll dive into an actual policy illustration.
