The reason why I am making this video is to promote mental health wellness. However, I do post videos that succumb to suicidal ideations on my channel. Unfortunately, the number one video with currently 4,296 views with a 95.8% like count is titled Life Is Meaningless, I Want To Die. It is an outcry to the misery of my life, and how unmeaningful life is to me. This video was loaded two years ago and I left it up there because it was transparent and showcases my vulnerability with suicidal ideations.
But it increasingly bothers me that the suicidal video has performed with a high view and like count with various comments that could relate to the meaningless of life, that I feel I need to continuously try to promote healthier mental wellness videos like this one. I am starting a motivation section to continue the transparency of mental illness, but at the same time I am trying to promote a healthier well being.
In this previous video, I mention suicidality, failure, and an unmeaningful life, and I feel like even though I am not contributing an intentional unhealthy video because it is so real and people could related to it, I feel I am doing a disservice to the mental health community by not being an advocate for mental health.
I hope you appreciate this video as much as I try to express the importance of mental health. I used a clickbait title. It is sad my watch time consists of 98.7% non subscribers, so that just tells me people are searching in google and YouTube "Life is meaningless, I want to die." This bothers me a lot because most of my videos provide a wealth of advocacy for mental health. I should probably take it down but I try to make this channel as authentic to my reality and most of the time I still have contributions of suicidal ideations. Anyways, please contact or text the suicide hotline below if you are considering suicide.
