In our first episode, Artistic Director chats about verbatim theatre and the menopause with playwright Esme Pearson-Brown. Esme's show, The Plunge, is being staged at the Space from 15th-19th March 2022, with a livestream on Thursday 17th and on demand access available for two weeks after that.

In Spring of 2021 Mothers and their children volunteered to be interviewed for a University project concerning menopause and the inter-generational lack of understanding. A year later, Dirty Feet Theatre Company present The Plunge, a play inspired by and created using verbatim from women across the country.
Meet us on the beach where we will follow a cold water swimming group pulled together from a desire to create community, conversations and celebrations. You’re invited to dive in with them as they learn to listen, talk and to not be afraid to use the ‘m’ word.
