This is a poem for US all. Especially for the moments when nobody really gets us, when they all believe we are coping and don't need checking up, when they think we have got it together when all you need is to hear someone say 'I hear you, I get it, I am here for you'
Special needs parenting is HARD. There are many challenges that come with it. Many objections, many decisions, moments where you choose to miss out because it is so tiring having to repeat yourself time and time again about 'what your child has' or what it means for you as a family. So I was very glad to bump into this poem because I think we need to validate the hardships of this way of parenting and send strength to each other from all corners of the world
