a. His Character demands it
b. His very name reflects it
c. Jesus described His own heart as Gentle – Matthew 11:28
2. Our gentleness has great impact – Proverbs 15:4 - A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. – it carries the idea of healing!
a. In the lives of other believers – Galatians 6:1
b. And, in the lives of unbelievers – 1 Peter 3:15
c. Our gentleness comes from Above, through God’s Wisdom – James 3:17
