3. God’s Spirit gives us the ability to control self.

b. V9-11 – Self Control = Spirit-controlled!
4. For Example:
a. Controlled for service to others – 1 Corinthians 9:19
b. Controlled for the salvation of souls v19-22
c. Controlled for the sake of the gospel – v23
d. Controlled for eternal victory v24-25
e. Controlled to finish well v26-27
