2. The Minister Empowered – v7-9
a. Made a minister / stewardship (v.2); Colossians 1:25-29 – to me; for you!
i. To preach the Riches of Christ
1. To search the unsearchable – Revelation – 2 Corinthians 12:1-6
2. To steward the mystery
ii. To bring to Light the Plan
1. Turn on the light – John 1:4-14
iii. To stay Humble as God uses you
1. Not me, but God! I am just His messenger
2. It is always about the Message, not the messenger
3. The messenger is flawed; the message is Pure!
3. The Mission Explained – v10-13
a. The Church is positioned as God’s conduit of Wisdom to the world
b. The Church’s Power comes from Christ
c. The Church’s Purpose is in Christ
i. Through Faith
ii. With Boldness
iii. By Access – Hebrews 4:14-16
iv. Worth the Cost – the Bookends of v1 1 and 13
1. Prisoner of Christ, on your behalf
2. Suffering for you – Your Glory – you’re worth it!
