1. The God Who Sees doesn’t need our help. V 1-6
2. The God Who Sees requires our submission. V 7-12
a. He found her
b. He called her by name
c. He gave her an assignment
d. He made her a specific promise, based on her obedience.
3. The God Who Sees redeems our messes. V 13-16
a. Hagar’s life was a mess of another’s making
i. God saw it.
b. Abram & Sarai actively & impatiently messed up their lives & Hagar’s with their own short-cut
i. God saw it
ii. They would need 13 more years of God’s patient development to be ready to parent Isaac.
c. He sees your mess & is more than able to redeem it for His Glory and your Good.
i. He will find you
ii. He will call you by name
iii. He will give you an assignment
iv. He will make you a specific promise.
4. Here is what the God Who Sees is looking for – 2 Chronicles 16:9
a. Who has your heart?
b. If you’ll surrender your heart to Him, He’ll redeem your mess.
