So in my personal opinion I would say no. Do not shoot you shot. BUT what you can do is definitely hint at the guy that way he knows and can look further into whether he is interested and wants pursue you. The thing is you want him on your radar and he also needs to know that you have him on your radar as well. After that have an opportunity to meet up with him and exchange casual conversation. I did once and on this segment/episode I talk about how I shot my shot...plus find out if I was successfull at it or not.
