After a tense trek through the feral dead-lands on the other side of the portal; our party and their helpers arrived at a intimidating fortress to find their way blocked by heavy gates, high walls, soldiers, and sentient ballista! Using Dio's dexterity, Byrdis bow arm and a few well timed Forgefinger Specials they managed to gain entry to the keep. Inside they encountered chain devils and other nasty hurdles before catching a glimpse of a fiendishly familiar orcish face. Will the Rift Walkers and crew make it to the top of the tower before Orcblood can stabilize the rift? What other horors lay in wait for them withing this tower? Can they smell what the beetle's cooking?!
