1. The World Bank has slashed the global growth outlook for 2023 to 1.7 percent, down from its previous forecast of 3 percent back in June last year.

3. At the Golden Globes 2023, Park Chan-wook’s “Decision to Leave” lost out to Argentinian contender ‘Argentina, 1985’ in the best film category. It is however still competing in the best foreign film category for the Critics Choice Award, along with five other films.
