1. South Korea’s presidential office said Tuesday that Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will embark on a two-day visit to South Korea on May 7th to meet with President Yoon Suk Yeol.
2. According to Statistics Korea on Tuesday, South Korea’s consumer prices jumped 3.7 % on year in April, rising at the slowest pace in more than a year on falling global oil prices. April’s figure is the latest signal that the inflation has receded.
