Description

1. According to the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute, the launch of South Korea's homegrown rocket, Nuri, would be delayed until later this week. The Nuri rocket was originally scheduled to embark on a journey into orbit about 550 km above the earth at 6:24 PM on Wednesday with a total of 8 satellites.

2. According to a U.S. public filing on Tuesday, South Korea submitted a request to the United States Department of Commerce to double its proposed limit on the expansion of production by South Korean chips manufacturers in China, and redefine several of its terms in the CHIPS and Science Act.

3. The South Korean government and the ruling People Power Party agreed on Wednesday to review the possibility of disallowing downtown rallies by organizations with a history of unlawful acts and restricting downtown rallies and demonstrations during commuting hours.
