1. South Korea’s daily COVID-19 infections tallied almost 20-thousands on Wednesday, which was the all-time high in about 42 days. Meanwhile, the number of critically ill patients and the deaths stood at 61, and 7 respectively, on the same day.
2. The Foreign Minister Park Jin departed for Singapore to meet his counterpart Vivian Balskrishnan on Tuesday. Park will also attend the G20 foreign ministers meeting in Bali, Indonesia from Thursday to Friday local time.
