1. Jeju's Regional Office of Meteorology issued a typhoon advisory as of 8 AM on Monday. The Korea Meteorological Administration has forecast that the typhoon will hit Jeju island at 1 AM Tuesday morning.
2. The Korean won depreciated against the U.S. dollar once again on Monday morning as it breached the 1,370 won-to-dollar mark for the first time in more than 13 years since April 2009. The local currency ended its trading at 1,371.7 won against the US dollar. \
3. According to the state-run Korea Aerospace Research Institute at around 5 PM on Friday, Korea’s unmanned lunar orbiter, Danuri, has successfully undergone a trajectory correction maneuver, a procedure in readjusting its speed and trajectory to head back towards the moon.
