1. The Ministry of Economy and Finance said Friday that South Korea has signed an agreement with Ukraine to offer low-interest loans and rebuild the infrastructure of the war-torn country. Officials from the South Korean government as well as a business delegation visited Kyiv between September 13th and 14th to support Ukraine’s rehabilitation efforts.
2. The Ministry of Economy and Finance said Friday that South Korea’s economic slowdown appears to be gradually easing as exports show signs of recovery, including semiconductors. The ministry said volatility in the price of raw materials is still a threat.
3. Libyan Red Crescent Societies said Thursday that the death toll from the devastating floods that struck Libya’s eastern port city of Derna has risen to 11-thousand-300, while another 11-thousand remain missing.
