1. President Yoon Suk Yeol held summits with the leaders of more than 9 nations after arriving in New York on Monday. President Yoon is scheduled to address the UN general Assembly on Wednesday and hold at least 30 bilateral summits on the sidelines.
2. A U.S. district court on Monday dismissed a lawsuit filed by American nuclear power company Westinghouse Electric Corp. to stop Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and Korea Electric Power Corp. from exporting its own nuclear reactors.
3. The Presidential office said Tuesday that President Yoon Suk Yeol signed off on a motion requesting parliamentary consent to opposition leader Lee Jae-myung’s arrest. Lee has been accused of bribery and other charges in connection with a land development project.
