1. According to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, North Korea fired an intercontinental ballistic missile and two short-range ballistic missiles towards the East Sea on Thursday, but the ICBM seems to have failed mid-flight following the second stage separation.
2. South Korea’s Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters said that the funeral procedures of 121 out of 156 deceased victims of the Itaewon stampede have been completed, and the bodies of 7 out of 26 foreign national victims have also been sent to their home countries.
