1. South Korean President, Yoon Suk-yeol, embarked today on a 6-day trip to Southeast Asia for the G20 and ASEAN multilateral summits. His first destination is the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh.

3. The benchmark KOSPI closed at 2,466.90 on Friday, up 80.93 points from the previous trading day, prompted by the report on slowing US inflation rate. The local currency ended at 1,318.4 won against the US dollar, down 59.1 won from the previous day.
