1. President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday pledged to provide full support for semiconductor cooperation between South Korea and the Netherlands, as he visited the headquarters of Dutch chipmaking equipment company ASML.
2. According to data compiled by Statistics Korea on Wednesday, South Korea's on-year employment grew at a slower pace for the first time in four months in November. The number of employed people rose by 277,000 from a year earlier, slowing from the previous month's 346,000.
3. The U.S. Department of the Treasury said Tuesday it imposed sanctions on more than 250 individuals and entities, including a South Korean national, for involvement in Russia’s arms procurement. South Korea on Wednesday said an investigation has been launched into the individual.
