We all have intrusive thoughts from time to time. So many people try to visualize what they’re calling in — only to have the images get hijacked by intrusive, hyper-critical or dark thoughts. This is often followed by shame and confusion and while we all deal with intrusive thoughts on some level, it's not a topic talked about very often.
I wanted to bring some light to it and some support. I’m breaking down why this happens, why fighting those thoughts usually makes them stronger, and how you can actually work with them instead including visualization techniques that might even be more effective.
