Facing Crisis
Matthew 8:1-27
Matthew 8:23-25 (NLT) Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with His
disciples. Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus
was sleeping. The disciples went and woke Him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to
drown!”
Big Idea:
Jesus can be trusted in the storm.
1. Crisis is a launch pad for God’s activity.
2. Crisis can blindside us at times.
3. Crisis doesn’t affect everyone the same way.
4. God invites us to say no to fear and yes to faith.
