Description

We all want a cure for Parkinson’s, but only 4% of people with the condition take part in research today..

In this episode we look at some of the barriers and benefits of taking part in research. We dispel some of the myths, share our own experiences of taking part in research, offer tips on how to get involved, and hear from some of the people on the front line of Parkinson’s research.

We also ask ..How close are we to finding that elusive cure?

And in our ‘People with Parkinson’s do Amazing Things’ segment, we meet the man driving the length of Africa in a very unreliable VW van and hear about a remarkable feat by a team of Parkinson’s swimmers.
