Kareem Dharsee is a member of ORDER 416, a Toronto based cosplay group. He goes into how they formed, his take on Star Wars Cosplay and his excitement on getting to be a part of the Salaam Fandom panel at the recent NY City Comic-Con.
I first met Kareem, Daniel and Reno at Star Wars Celebration and featured a brief conversation with them on Episode 7, the Celebration episode. Although there are many official and unofficial cosplay groups, I like the openness, and welcoming and fun aspect they bring to the fandom.
Since Celebration, I have seen a number of great characters featured by Kareem and Order 416 on his Instagram page, @kareems.dreams as well as the ORDER 416 one. We learn about his experience there and more about his journey and of course the cos and cross play.
