Setting the table for 2020 with guest Tom Gross, newsman for the ‘Coffee with Kenobi’ podcast as he talks about the upcoming event at Washington Community High School, in Washington, Illinois - S.T.E.A.M. into Star Wars. You probably know the podcast, but you may not know that Tom is also the Librarian for WCHS and Dan Zehr from the podcast is a teacher from that same school.
It’s a free event sponsored by the school for the whole family and will feature local artists, authors and podcasters and have Star Wars themed arts and crafts for the Kids. Members of the 501st will also be on hand showing a little how their costumes are made.
I have been invited and will be podcasting from there as well.
The event is Saturday, January 11th from 9:30-1.
