What does it mean to be an introvert?



In this episode, we explore our definitions of introversion, what it means to be an introvert in business and how we cope in today's post-pandemic, always switched-on, fasted paced world.



Why do certain things impact us more extremely and why do we feel a certain way in various circumstances?



We chat about the need to recover from pandemic isolation and start building the muscle of socialising again. Us introverts, we need quiet time and space to recover from spending time with people. We need a balance between time with others and time alone.

We turn to neuroscience to get a better understanding of what's going on in our bodies and minds. We explore which neurochemicals are involved in making us feel happy & connected and most importantly how we can get a higher DOSE of these feel-good hormones such as dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphin.
