In this episode, we will experience and learn about Simeon and his prayer, the prayer that allowed him to meet Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus in the temple of God. The scripture tells us he was a righteous and devout man of Jerusalem and he was one of the first to recognize Jesus as the Messiah. The commentary teaches that it is recognized in the Bible as the presentation of baby Jesus in the temple and the scripture says it was the Holy Spirit that prompted Simeon to go to the temple where he held the Christ child, while blessing, praising, and thanking God.
