Satellite.im, a Web3 project, is working to change that.
Satellite.im is a P2P chat and voice & video calling app hosted on IPFS. The project claims end-to-end encryption based on an IPFS file sharing protocol. The app also supports cross-platform operation, 4K video streaming, and easy file sharing, and it also plans to introduce payment options soon.
