Our film follows two different people and their crew. Firstly, we have a small team of professional bank robbers who target several banks within L.A. Leading this team is Neil (Robert De Niro). Unfortunately for Neil, during the team's most recent heist, one person in his team made a big mistake and a rather unwise choice that only brought interest to LA law enforcement.
This is when the film introduces us to LT Vincent (Al Pacino), who lives with his girlfriend and daughter. Vincent called a major crime scene of a robbery, which begins to give Vincent and his team direction as to who these men are that continue to rob banks and get away with it. Now it is Vincent vs Neil, to men who are both bright and brilliant at what they do professionally. While they lead different lives, our two leads are, in fact, quite similar and relatable to one another. They both bring on the heat as they try to outsmart each other. Neil is determined to put anyone down who gets in his way, Vincent is determined to Neil behind bars but will not hesitate to gun down Neil if lives are at risks.
