Ep.10 Don't Rest. Sprint!
Hey friends! So we're at the end of the academic year, and you're wondering what should you children be doing now. Maybe you've ran out of ideas for them. This episode is going to help you navigate the remaining months of learning and prepare you for the next year. I'm here to tell you that there's a variety of options for children to do self-directed projects including: reading a book, creating a recipe, or designing a video game. Children are very capable of figuring out what they are interested in and what skills will be needed to manifest their ideas into reality. This is exactly what self-directed learning is all about. As NBA legend and Hall of Famer, Kobe Bryant, once said, "Don't rest in the middle."
In This Episode
In this episode I'm sharing a few important tips for parents who are searching for ideas and things for children for the last days of the academic year. Remember that unschooling is a lifestyle. You don't slow down and rest because your educational days are winding down. There are still opportunities for your child to learn new things or review past topics and subjects. You have to sprint in this marathon.
