In This Episode
In this conversation, Jacquelyn shares the importance of learning your learner, discovering while traveling, and utilizing your resources as a single parent homeschooler. Jacquelyn shares how she deschooled herself and changed her mind on how she parented to find the best path for her children's homeschool journey. She shares how she determined what was and was not working to eliminate the idea of doing school at home. With quality conversations with her children, Jacquelyn was able to compromise and support her children in their homeschooling journey.
Jacquelyn also shared the importance of her children learning subjects such as science and math from people of color, who were excited and culturally representative. She has curated a wonderful experience for her children to be immersed in learning.
