James Mallios currently owns and operates Amali in NYC, Bar Marseille in the Rockaways, Calissa in Water Mill (Hamptons) and Juniper in Westbury and is a frequent guest on NBC, Fox Business, Bravo, CBS, and Good Day New York. He has been invited to speak at Columbia Law School, Hunter College, and the 92nd Street Y on various restaurant matters. James is a board member of the New York City Hospitality Council, the NYC Hospitality Alliance, RAISE, and the East Midtown Partnership. James graduated from Fordham Law School in 1999 and Cornell University with distinction in 1996. After leaving a career in the law, he opened Amali in 2011 in partnership with a restaurant group with a 30-year history of operations in New York City.
