Bibek Basnet is an education development practitioner, who’s working as a consultant for Global Partnership for Education at the World Bank at the time of this conversation. He recently completed his master’s in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. During the pandemic, Bibek worked for Eduki—a Nepali ed-tech startup—to develop online math learning materials for Nepali students, which are also publicly available on Youtube. Bibek is passionate about making education meaningful and fun while supporting governments to strengthen education delivery systems. Besides working on education, he finds himself listening to music, singing, going on walks, and contemplating our existence in this world.
