Hannah Davey and Tyler Hartman are here to talk about music! Tyler is a dad rock (formerly punk) musician with industry knowledge and music production experience, Hannah Davey is a media enthusiast, writer, and podcast producer with opinions.
The whole conceit of this podcast is built around different experiences of music and discussing those divergences. Hannah Davey and Tyler talk about this experience, as well as the difficulty of separating art from the artist when the artist does something horrible but you really enjoy the song. We don’t go into any details about the crimes people have committed or been accused of committing, but we do speak them pretty starkly. If this would be triggering, we promise we’ll move on to less depressing topics next episode.
