CONTENT WARNING: Discussion of mental health crises and suicide.

Hannah Davey and Tyler Hartman are here to talk about music! Tyler is a dad rock (formerly punk) musician with industry knowledge and music production experience; Hannah Davey is a media enthusiast, writer, and podcast producer with opinions.

This episode is a bummer with bright spots! Heed the content warning, please, because HD and Tyler are talking about the absolutely amazing band Frightened Rabbit and the lead musician, Scott Hutchison (1981-2018). HD and Tyler discuss the musicality of the band as well as the pain and joy of the lyrics, and how that’s all tied to their own mental health journeys. Tyler also discusses a tribute song to Scott that was created by Frank Turner, “A Wave Across A Bay.”
