Hannah Davey and Tyler Hartman are here to talk about music! Tyler is a dad rock (formerly punk) musician with industry knowledge and music production experience, Hannah Davey is a media enthusiast, writer, and podcast producer with opinions.
Tyler is very excited to talk about Nick Lutsko’s latest album, ’Swords.’ He compares Nick Lutsko to Tim Kasher’s album ‘Cursive,’ Hannah Davey sees some Lemon Demon in this, and the two of them talk about the beautiful value of song composition. Tyler recommends Nick Lutsko's music videos, too, especially to the song “All Shook Up,” which is his favorite song (not on the ’Swords’ album). This leads us into discussing the value of brats and hot dogs. Stick around for a couple minutes after the outro to get a little glimpse into HD’s Texas non-adventure, too—this conversation has a lot of layers.
