He talks about the similarities and the differances between doing comedy and open mics here in Boise and how the entertainment industry in New York and Los Angeles works. We discuss joke writing, comedy communities, traveling, making friends and even spirituality. Drew worked for many years hosting and producing shows at The Riot Comedy club (theriothtx.com) He takes us through some stories about Texas comedy, the upcoming festival he is a part of in Houston and how doing predominantly black rooms in Houston helped him to develop his stage presence and style as a comic.
