I am a nature lover, I love being outdoors where I feel whole, centered, and at peace... in my element! So of course, the preservation of nature is important for me and hopefully for you too. It’s a big topic, we will stay light, and we will speak about today: Eath’s day And it’s a day to celebrate our beautiful Planet Earth and all it provides for us. It is also a day to promote sustainability. 

Earth Day is an international event created in 1970. And there is many ways to celebrate Earth day, for example, by going outside and getting some fresh air of course, but also helping to clean a beach, planting trees, volunteering in your community, in conservation and biodiversity initiatives, or donating to a charity that helps protect our environment... It's great, but having an ongoing eco-friendly lifestyle is much better. 

What can we do to help our planet? How to Make a Difference in Your Daily Life? 

In this episode, let’s remind ourselves of easy day to day things that will help not only our planet but also our health and our family's wellness. 

We can feel overwhelmed and discouraged when we see so much pollution at the beach, so much rubbish on the sides of the roads and when we receive pollution alert/unsafe air alert on our phones...  

How can we make a difference? How could it work? Well, there is much to do, at many levels, however, we can do our part just by being mindful.  And if more and more people are aware and willing to help by changing some of their habits, it will make a huge difference. And don't forget that by doing so, we are teaching the next generations to do the same. 

We also need to be realistic and true. Let's stay away from all the extremes, like denying the environmental changes or making people feel guilty because they are not eco-friendly enough. You don't need to get rid of your car, wear only second hands clothes or stop eating your favorite burger on Sundays: just be conscious and adopt a more sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle, as much as you realistically can. 

I was a tiny episode for Earth’s day, I hope it reminded you of some ways of supporting the health of our ecosystem and our beautiful blue planet while simultaneously having a healthier life.  No guilt, we do what we can, the best we can, just do your best. 

In any case, take a moment to send gratitude to Mother Earth, our beautiful blue planet.
