I know, I preached a sermon series on fear just six weeks ago, but there is even more to fear and worry about now than there was six weeks ago. The virus epidemic continues to ravage our city and now civil unrest and protests have stormed into the streets. There is much to fear and worry about, but times haven't changed much from the time of Jesus. They too, were experiencing devastating diseases and constant civil unrest. They too were fearful that their world was rapidly changing for the better and for the worse. They too were worried about their children and grandchildren. But Jesus had words of comfort, guidance, and hope for those first century followers and for us today.
