Alright, today’s guest…Wanting to get away from the corporate world and realizing how much his sales background could apply to fundraisers, he realized that fundraisers are the best salespeople around because they believe in their product. However, he also had the revelation that nonprofits do not adequately set people up for success. He found his niche. His favorite thing about what he does is, the many people he gets to meet and the diverse ways they want to help and the chance he has to make a difference in their lives.
His methods for keeping productive are, Writing a lot. Networking. and raising a teenage son.
When asked what advice he would offer to others aspiring to succeed as a business owner he replied, “Become a great storyteller. Whether you are pitching a product, sharing an idea, or building your village, people long to hear a great story.”
