Description

This is our 3rd and last episode in our series on the the gospel, but you can be assured that the message of the gospel will be interwoven throughout each and every episode to come!  This week we had the extreme pleasure of sitting down to talk with Morgan May about how the gospel has impacted her life. Morgan is fresh out of college and her passion for and desire to share the love of Jesus is what made us want to have this conversation with her.  We discuss how her heartbeat for the church is that everyone would feel loved and at at home, how her great-grandmother’s battle with ALS hugely impacted her walk with The Lord, how the gospel helps her through her daily struggle with clinical anxiety, and why and understanding of the gospel is specifically important for women.  Ya’ll, this one is GOOD! There is a lot of laughter in this conversation because the gospel really does fill us with so much joy!

Quotes:

“The father welcomes his son home with loving and open arms and it’s our responsibility as the church, his expression of himself on the earth, to be people who welcome home others with arms wide open.” - Morgan

“I have a God that chooses me and choses me consistently even when my first choice isn’t always Him.” - Morgan

“The gospel changes living everyday because quite honestly every single thing that I can come up against or every single thought that leads to panic, every single time that I feel sick, or convince myself that I have a brain tumor, the blood of Jesus that has covered all sin, and all death, when you look at whatever that struggle is compared to the blood of Jesus it doesn’t even hold any weight because his blood does cover every single thing!” - Morgan
