The Medicare business, as any other business, is based on customers. The number of customers you have is important to the business. It is always important to grow by having new customers, however, the potential for a strong Medicare business is based on how many of those customers your retain. The fourth quarter of the year is spent writing business for the first quarter of the next year. The goal is to increase the number of customers on December 31 beginning January 1.
