75% of the population is living from an infant or child level of maturity. Our society is failing to provide what is necessary to create a thriving population of elders, if this continues we will continue to create communities of infants. As therapists, we are called to value people, all people, based on nothing other than their existence. We have to be committed to our own journey to get to where we need to be to love others well. If we do not do the work to fill our gaps, we do not have what we need to attain elder-level maturity.
