You ever been done a "take your kids to work day" with your parent. You often start off with one impression of what your parents do at work, but then come to the reality of what they actually do when you are there. That is what we get to see in Psalm 82 as we see God manage other spiritual beings that are supposed to be managing the nations. PS: it is not looking good for the spiritual beings....
